FLOWERS
ROSE
Acrylic on Canvas 8″ x 10″
Prickles. It always seemed a bit funny to me that the flower that’s most associated with Valentine’s Day can also do some damage on delicate skin. Look but don’t touch!
Blooming Flower
Acrylic on Canvas 8″ x 10″
Yellow, white, green. The basic colors that put you in a good mood.
Iris
Acrylic on Canvas 8″ x 10″
With the Iris’ pedals opened, it’s almost as if it’s reaching out to give you a hug. Watch out if you have allergies, like me.
Bird of Paradise
Acrylic on Canvas 8″ x 10″
A trip to Florida always brings the encouter with a bird…or paradise. It’s both a beautiful and weird flower.
Daffodil
Acrylic on Canvas 8″ x 10″
Can I get them in 3’s? Nice to see that these are still coming up each year.
Yellow Rose
Acrylic on Panel 8″ x 8″
These used to bloom on the side of the house until the weed whacker got to them. I’d blame someone else, but I’m the only one who does the lawn care so….whoops.
Apples & Sunflowers
Acrylic on Panel 18″ x 24″
Apples and sunflowers go together like…..apples and sunflowers. Both look about ready to harvest in the fall.
Orange Lily
Acrylic on Panel 8″ x 10″
Brilliant colored flower in a blue vase.
Lily Pad
Acrylic on Canvas 8″ x 10″
Ribbit. Floating in a pod full of greens and blacks floats a pink flower, bringing a pop of color to an otherwise boring palette.
